Being a part of the Worthy Recovery Team means being a part of dedicated individuals who, in the core of their being, have the desire and the passion to make a difference. As a Christian woman myself who has a “past”, I know how difficult it is to find your place in this world.
The women coming out of the jail need HOPE. The Recovery Home gives them that HOPE that someone cares. It is my pleasure to contribute to a cause that gives hurting women the HOPE they need to make it on their own. I have known Sonshine for a few years now and was attracted to her passion and her love for Jesus. She is contagious. The way she interacts with the ladies is a gift that not many people have. It is my pleasure and my blessing to give of my time, prayer, and money to pour into a cause that is this great.. I’m excited to see what God has in store for the future of this home, but moreover, excited that the walk He has us walking through now….is changing lives moment by moment. Blessings!
