BE a part of the solution: Think of ways to get your Business, Boss or groups involved to help us raise the equivalent of $300,000 in donations, materials and volunteers. This is the first transitional recovery home in La Porte County for non-violent female offenders desiring HOPE and healing. We've filled 10 dumpsters with the efforts of our community. Finding grant money for rebuilding is difficult to find, so we do a lot of Fundraisers.

MISSION STATEMENT:
Worthy Hope is a Biblical Grace – based resource created to mentor ladies who struggle with substance abuse issues. Worthy Hope is a Christian - faith based mentoring group consisting of women who dedicate time, prayer, and fellowship to walk alongside addicts. Worthy Hope provides a non-judgmental atmosphere where ladies may find guidance and assistance in order to allow them to recognize the value of healthy relationships. Worthy Hope Mentors provide outreach help for struggling female addicts.
The first step in successful mentoring is when the mentor is transparent, accountable, and consistent in her daily walk with the Lord.
As a Worthy Hope Mentor you should be aware of not only the words the ladies speak, but the truth or lies behind their words. For example, there is a difference between feeling guilty and true repentance. One can feel guilty about an offense without expressing remorse. As a Worthy Woman Mentor you should always encourage the ladies to turn from their old life pattern. The ladies may deny accountability for their actions and seek pity from a mentor. Worthy Women Mentors should speak truth into their lives and help them see that they alone are accountable for their actions. Luke 24:47 ……there is forgiveness of sins for all who repent.
